"Little Bear" was created for the 2025 Women's Work show at the A.R. Mitchell Museum. The theme was centred around cowgirls and partnering with a ranch. I partnered with Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch in Central Oregon, featuring a ranch hand named Hollee. She showed me the ropes, and we talked about what the ranch does, rescuing horses and rescuing hearts through the power of Jesus. Little Bear is the name of this rescued draft horse, who was saved as a young colt that a bear attacked. Hollee and Little Bear danced around during a session of liberty training when they both stopped, and this gentle giant did his famous bow.
